At long last, going off both subscriber requests & our own visions for DeltaofVenus.com we've rebuilt the site from the ground up – running off a completely new & much improved system, plus re-encoded every single film in the archives for increased resolution & quality. Some of the new features include:

1. Favorites System – bookmark the films & galleries you like for easy repeat viewing.

2. Commenting & Ratings – Ask questions on movies/galleries, give feedback, discuss with other members & DOV staff, easy n' quick. Also rate your favorite (or least favorite) stuff and see at a glance what's popular with other subscribers.

3. Searchable Archives – Filter the collection with various pre-set categories, or search for your own keywords in titles, descriptions, actresses, etc. And sort through these lists via date, name, popularity, etc.

4. Actresses & Models – Easily find content featuring your favorite ladies, alongside biographical info, in our growing library of starlets & models from the 50s through the 70s.

5. Improved Photo Navigation & Slideshows – Rather than the previous grab-bag sorted by time period for the image library, now we'll be publishing serialized galleries each unified by a given theme. Navigation is better along with a convenient hands-free slideshow mode.

6. And More! - Other features are scattered throughout, and still more will be coming online in the near future.

In the interest of getting everything to our members ASAP, this is a rolling re-launch – other improvements will be coming online in the coming weeks & months. The new system gives a lot of flexibility in what can be done and room for growth - a lot of it 'under the hood' and thus not immediately apparent - so if you've got any ideas yourself please do tell us!

Likewise, if while trying out the new features you notice any glitches or things not working as they should, give us a heads-up and we'll fix the issue as quickly as possible. We've been troubleshooting but as always a few bugs may have slipped through. Keep in mind a couple areas, like the model listings and such, are a work in progress and will be expanded substantially in the coming months.

Virginia Bell Virginia Bell Diminuitive of height at only 5'2”, Virginia brought new meaning to the term STACKED. Born in 1923 in Nashville, voted “Most Likely To Succeed” in high school and then graduated salutatorian of her class, Bettie then bounced around from California to Miami to Haiti before arriving in New York City. Brigitte Lahaie Brigitte Lahaie French-born Brigitte began her adult career in the mid-1970s, appearing in a large catalogue of well-produced European erotic movies – reasonable budgets, convincing sets/costumes/props, and halfway decent actors made many of these into “real” movies that just happened to portray lots of sex. In our (biased) opinions, these generally blow any contemporary porn out of the water both in quality and eroticism, but that's a topic for another place ;) She also appeared in many men's magazines & shorter (yet still high-quality) XXX loops, which provide most of the Brigitte-oriented content you'll find here. Roberta Pedon Roberta Pedon Roberta Pedon (1952-1982) was born with the not exactly stage-friendly name Rosma Laila Grantoviskis to Latvian-Jewish parents in Ohio. Supposedly somewhere along the line she picked up fluent Portuguese, although not much else is known before her migration to California in the early 1970s. She was quickly 'discovered' by photographers & men's magazines, and became a mainstay in the pin-up landscape of the era. The fact that her lovely slender body included a pair of incredible breasts several sizes larger than the rest of her frame got her fans' attention, but her staying power was helped along with an appealing girl-next-door appearance - pretty eyes, a goofy smile, and a general demeanor halfway between corn-fed Midwestern girl and California hippie. That combo - the proportions of a goddess but the down-to-earth persona of your neighbor around the block - is a big reason for her appeal even decades later. Sadly, Miss Pedon's personal demons - drugs & alcohol & who knows what else - were powerful & persistent and contributed to her death of liver disease at the young age of 28.
